President of University Prof.Dr.Muhammed-Baqir M-R. Fakhrildin, accompanied with the head of Public Relation Division Mr. Hassan Al Helale , has visited the ambassador of European Union in Iraq his highness Mr.Ramon Blecua.

 The two sides have highlighted issues that would greatly contribute in accomplishing the aspiring progress in the teaching process at our University including  discussing  the mechanism of University twinning with European Universities , developing the infrastructure of the University (labs, studying halls, supplying the labs with the latest technological  apparatus), and the possibility of instituting an European Centre for training and academic development from which Units could be branched out  to other Iraqi Universities.  

Mr.Blecua has stated his co-operation and willingness to present a Memorandum of Understanding to activate these points in the near future.
