Jabir ibn Hayyan Medical University held symposium about publishing in global  research  journals , with the attendance of vice-chancellor for scientific affairs Prof.Dr.Safa Al-Obaidi and dean of Faculty of Medicine assis.Prof.Dr.Adel Al-Mayaly.

Dr.Hani Al-Jarakh ,the lecturer at Faculty of Medicine/Babylon University has given a lecture about the  mechanisms of publishing and verifying of  the main international research websites " Research gate "   " Google scholar"  "   Orcid ".

Furthermore ,the symposium has discussed the criteria of scientific publications , the standards of reliable researches ,fundamentals  of selecting the scientific Journals, management of scientific courses and manners of promoting them, and the ethics of publishing.

The recommendations have deeply highlighted the importance of taking into consideration the significance of enriching knowledge and supporting the position of  Iraqi Universities in the global academic community, activating the mutual collaboration research programs, standardize criteria for research excellence ,  making community partnership to develop University internal resources , and partnership with international research sites.
