The national committee of quality assurance and academic accreditation  has visited the Faculty of Medicine. They have been received by the dean Prof.Dr.Ali Mahmood Al Shammari, the dean-assistant for scientific affairs assist.Prof.Dr.Majida Malik, the dean-assistant for administrative affairs Dr.Majid  Jassim and a number of teaching staff.

The committee has inspected the infrastructure of the Faculty ,the studying halls, and the scientific labs. Moreover, they got an idea about the achieved progress at the Faculty.

The head of the department of quality assurance and academic accreditation Prof.Dr.Mohammed Baqer Fakhreldeen has given a lecture concerning the process of teaching quality and academic accreditation at the Faculty of Medicine and the achieved stages to get the Faculty within the national and world rank of academic accreditation  .

Also, a lecture has been given by the committee about the process of its work at the Faculties of Medicine in Iraq.

Then, There has been expanded discussions between the University professors and the committee.
