The  vice-chancellor  for scientific affairs Prof.Dr.Safa Al-obaidi and the head of surgery department at the Faculty of medicine assist.Prof.Dr. Adel Almialy have attended the International conference of medical teaching which has been organized  by the Faculty of medicine at the university of Babylon; in association with Leicester University in Britain under the emblem "the modern medical teaching is an insurance for a safe healthy system". 

It has been attended by academic figures from the Iraqi universities and professors from Leicester University. The conference aims to establish  an integrative modern scientific medical curriculum that contains the recent mechanism of evaluating students , training the professors on the methods of making a course  curriculum, and other issues such as making the professors acquainted with the ethical medical values and training them on the systems of quality assurance of medical teaching.
