Jabir ibn Hayyan Medical University organizes a seminar for the surgical Iranian Board Council and Iraqi Board supervisors and professors in the middle Euphrates provinces

Jabir ibn Hayyan Medical University organizes a seminar for professors of  the  surgical Iranian Board Council  and supervisors and professors of Iraqi Board council for general surgery at the centers of Najaf, Kerbela and Babylon ; which has been held at the Faculty of Medicine.

The seminar was about discussing certain issues concerned with the syllabus of training and the methods of evaluating marks for students of general surgery Board. Five work papers related to the samples of final examination at the Iraqi and Iranian Board councils have been applied in the seminar.

 In this respect, President of the university Prof.Dr. Ali Alshamari has suggested to  make  a cooperation between the two councils for exchanging   the students of different stages for matters of  training and participating in the final Board clinical  exams for both sides. Also, he pointed to the possibility of examining  the Board students in both countries for gaining the Iraqi and Iranian Board certificate in general surgery.

The Iranian side has taken the suggestions in consideration for discussing them officially.
